Tre bona poento. Kvankam estas nokto. Tio estis amuza, ĉar ni, Ĉado kaj mi, alvenis ĉi tien ankoraŭ dumtage, sed tiel lacigitaj de la trolado de la limkontrolo, kiu devigis nin marŝi 6 km por nenio krom blablabla, ke ni decidis manĝi en la restoracio, kredante, ke ni ne havus pli da ŝancoj tiun tagon atingi bonan rangon (ni atingis la duan lokon tiun nokton). Ili permesis al ni petveturi ĉi tien nur ĉar aŭto lasis nin ĉe la paspago kaj neniu kondukis nin tra la limkontrolo, kaj ni venis piede, kio estas malpermesita, sed ni klarigis, ke la ulo lasis nin tien kaj jam transiris, do ni devus provi tie. Ili forstampis nin, sed petis nin piediri al la alia limo. Ili rifuzis kaj devigis nin piediri reen ĉar ni povis transiri nur per veturilo.... tiom laca pro la tromado de la limkontrolistoj. We got dropped off here at around 10pm and said "fuck it we ball", stood in the middle of the road with thumbs up once every 5mins when a car passed. Somehow we scored a ride to Gyor, which was our direction, but if you're going to Hungary and by some miracle end up here, best of luck. most drivers are either going to Zagreb or alomg the border towards Serbia. the hungarian cars thend to be families of 4. Also, illegal. Have fun ;)―Anonymous

You might expect a gas station on the highway to be a great place. I actuallly had to wait 21 hours to get a ride towards belgrade. ANd actually a quite short ride with a truck driver to the border queu that involved 3km walking. At least it's a great place to camp, but consider that it's closed at night and during the day toilet is with payment. There is also a free chemical toilet on the truck park.Chances might be higher if you go towards Osijek

The shittiest place I have ever hitchhike, i'm sorry for this word but I waited for 6 hours to catch a car to Belgrade and a friend of mine took her 4days to catch a car to Belgrade! it's so weird because there is no empty cars passing by! they are all full. unbelievable! I never waited this time in my life and i'm surprised because the borders they were only in some km and it's a highway with lot of traffic. My conclusion hitchhiking in Croatia is awful.―Anonymous

Not a very good place indeed. Very low traffic and most of it goes to Osijeka or is local. Still, probably your only option around here if you want to go to Belgrade.―Maxim1110

we were waiting here for about 2 hours becouse gas station was small and few cars stoped there and only foreign people stoped by from germany and sweden etc.But this station is the biggest one there around... others are even smaller.Best hitch stop if you going to serbia.―Anonymous

We got so lucky there! That's the spot you should stand on after crossing the border, because people go slow on the roundabout and they have some time to stop. We stood with a sign Osijek and litterally the first guy stopped and took us just before it started raining heavily―AdamMati

DO NOT COME HERE!Despite the fact, that is seems to be a pretty good place to cross the border, there is no traffic on this road. We got a ride to a border (1 km, two guys), but the police on the border did not allow us, since we were on foot and not in the car. So they sent us away, with the premission to walk on the highway.
After 30 minutes we got a ride to Brod, where we were able to cross the border.

Doner place at the side od the road with plenty of space for cars to pull up. However the trafic at around 7pm was miserable. Great doner tho. The owner ended up giving us a ride right in front of the 1st toll booth―Anonymous
